After 2 years of backpacking adventures that took me across the globe, I discovered something that became a true passion: the joy of amazing desserts shared with wonderful company (or alone sometimes).

 

From the streets of Belgium to the sun-soaked corners of South America, I found Liege waffles and vibrant açaí bowls to be my favorite. These desserts became a sweet reminder of the places I visited, the people I shared them with, and the joy found in simple pleasures - I want to share that feeling with you!

 

 After returning to the States, I wanted to carry that sense of adventure with me. My family & I brainstormed Berry & Batter as a way to bring the sweetness of my travels back to our community - with an added twist! Inspired by our Middle Eastern background, our waffles & açaí bowls are made with ingredients that honor both our heritage and my adventures. For me, food is not just fuel; it’s about nourishing the body and uplifting the spirit. It’s about celebrating moments with flavor, creativity, and gratitude. I believe that good food and health are deeply intertwined - by being mindful of our health and consumption, we honor both our well-being and our ability to indulge in life’s pleasures. Each bite is a part of a holistic approach to well-being, where health, creativity, and community come together.
